eat / robot farming

Team: Moritz Kaiser, Nicolas Prinz

In current industrial farming every plant receives the same treatment from seed to harvest. As a consequence our landscapes are characterised by boring monocultures that deny many species a place to live. Maybe a change in agricultural machinery – autonomous robots that treat plants individually – can save resources and turn our landscapes into mixed habitats.

A photograph of current agricultural robots would not reveal their potential. So we translated them into stylised exaggerations to show what autonomous robots could do and how that might change things.
